APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – A driver in Appleton was recently arrested for his 4th OWI after he fled on foot from the scene of a rollover crash.
According to a release from the Appleton Police Department, officers responded to the intersection of College Avenue and Mason Street for reports of a crash with one of the involved vehicles rolling over onto its roof.
Officials say a traffic camera showed the driver heading north on Mason Street towards the intersection of Mason Street and College Avenue before rear-ending one of several vehicles stopped for a red traffic light.

Due to not attempting to slow down prior to the intersection, the crash sent the vehicle rolling and ended up on its roof. The driver attempted to flee from the crash scene on foot but was later found and appeared to be showing signs of possible impairment…
