Opening day for the restaurant taking over the old Sticky Bird building at 616 S. Tyler is almost here.
Mother/daughter duo Leticia Ortiz-Salas and Giselle Limon-Ortiz plan to open Mexican Burritos — a quick-service Mexican restaurant — to the public on Monday, Feb. 23.
The restaurant is a reiteration of Los Mexican Burritos, which Ortiz-Salas last operated at 1710 S. West St. She closed it in December 2023 when road construction made it too difficult for customers to reach the restaurant. Before West Street, she’d run the restaurant for 16 years at 3005 E. Pawnee…
