Protester pleads guilty to assaulting ICE officer in Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — A protester accused of assaulting a federal officer outside the Portland ICE facility in June pleaded guilty to charges against him on Wednesday.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office says Robert Jacob Hoopes pleaded guilty to aggravated assault of a federal employee with a dangerous weapon resulting in bodily injury.
