North Greenbush, NY (WRGB) — Police arrested a 30-year-old man Tuesday following what authorities describe as a violent domestic incident involving threats with weapons and children inside a residence.
According to the North Greenbush Police Department, officers responded Feb. 17 to a home on Main Avenue for a reported 911 hang-up call. When officers arrived, they found evidence an altercation had occurred but no occupants were inside.
Police later located the female victim at a residence in Troy, where she told officers that Eric Gordon initiated an argument that escalated into violence. Investigators say Gordon threatened her with a knife, physically assaulted her, and then retrieved a gun, which he held to her head and discharged. Authorities said the gun contained a blank round…
