One person was hospitalized early Thursday following a house fire in Goodyear Heights, the Akron Fire Department reported.
Fire crews responded to reports of a fire in the 1300 block of Ottawa Avenue at 2:37 a.m. Feb. 19. Smoke and fire were first spotted at the front of the one-story house, the department reported. Residents were able to escape the burning house prior to firefighters arriving.
One person was taken to Summa Health Akron, where their current condition is unknown…
