BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WSPA) – Sheriff Quentin Miller of the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office said he is thankful a deputy was not seriously injured after being involved in a crash early Thursday morning.
Around 1:30 a.m., Deputy Anthony Packett was responding to an emergency call when his patrol vehicle ran off the road and crashed into a tree on Stoney Fork Road.
