ASHEVILLE, NC. (WLOS) — Nearly a year and a half after Helene, News 13 has learned that approximately 47 Buncombe properties and associated homeowners will be able to start the process of getting a buyout bid for their storm-ravaged homes in Buncombe County.
Michael Outar, who owned multiple rental units in Swannanoa that were destroyed, is encouraged that a buyout offer for his property from the federal government could come in the next three months.
