After years of delays, construction on the Downtown South project in Raleigh could finally begin by the end of 2026.
Developer John Kane confirmed the news to Eyewitness News on Thursday. The multi-billion-dollar development, planned for the area south of downtown at South Saunders and I-40, is set to feature a 12,000 to 15,000-seat soccer stadium.
