Russell County Child Advocacy Center hosts 18th annual father-daughter dance

RUSSELL COUNTY, Ala. (WTVM) – The Russell County Child Advocacy Center will host its 18th annual father-daughter dance Saturday night at St. Luke Ministry Center, with tickets nearly sold out for the sock hop-themed event.

The dance welcomes fathers and daughters of all ages, with no age restrictions on attendance. Lynn Hammock, director of the Russell County Child Advocacy Center, said the event once featured an 86-year-old father dancing with his 62-year-old daughter.
