Connor Grubb agrees to leave Blendon Twp. police force, will receive $150K

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ohio — Connor Grubb, the Blendon Township police officer acquitted in the fatal shooting of Ta’Kiya Young, is leaving the police department less than one month after he was reinstated.

According to a release, Blendon Township and Grubb agreed it was best if he did not return to active duty for the police department.

Grubb was acquitted by a Franklin County jury last November. He was charged with murder, involuntary manslaughter and felonious assault in Young’s death in 2023…
