East Bay man arrested in San Francisco homicide

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A man from Hayward was arrested Friday in connection to a deadly shooting in San Francisco.

At 2:02 a.m. on Feb. 9, the San Francisco Police Department responded to a shooting on the 500 block of Harrison Street and found one person suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to the hospital where they were pronounced dead.

During the investigation police identified 49-year-old Lamont Williams as the suspected shooter in the case. Police obtained a warrant for his arrest and took him into custody on the 25000 block of Industrial Boulevard in Hayward.

Williams was booked into San Francisco County Jail #1 for homicide. The shooting remains under investigation…
