Woman tells man she ‘had a present for him’ before stabbing him in head: Carlisle police

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A Carlisle woman allegedly tried to kill her child’s father Wednesday, telling him she “had a present for him” before pulling a knife and stabbing him in the head, according to charging documents.

Shannon Kerns, 37, was charged with attempted murder in connection to assault, which was reported just before 3 p.m.in the 100 block of Lincoln Street.
