School leaders in Hartselle are issuing a warning to parents after students were caught attempting to use counterfeit money on campus. They emphasize that this is not just a prank, but a crime.
Hartselle City Schools alerted parents district-wide following several incidents involving fake currency. Superintendent Holly Sutherland explained that while the incident was isolated, it served as an important teaching moment.
