DACUSVILLE, SC (WSPA) – There’s a school resource officer in Pickens County who has found more than one way to stand out to students.
Deputy Brandon Haman, of the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office, performs magic tricks every Friday in the Dacusville Elementary School cafeteria.
“It’s a good icebreaker. Kids don’t, they’re not going to remember what you say,” according to Deputy Haman. “They’re going to remember how you made them feel. So, if I can make them laugh and entertain them, that’ll stick with them a lot longer.”…
