Temperatures are taking a step back today and rainfall will be on and off as a stationary front remains over the region. This rain will be beneficial due to the ongoing drought across Hampton Roads and into the Southeast United States.
This unsettled pattern looks to last as we head into the weekend with another chance at winter weather looms.
In the short term, light rain and fog will continue through the day. Visibilities at times could be reduced to less than a half mile so be careful on the roadways.
