Monroeville man sentenced to prison for robbery of guns, cash from Unity home

A Monroeville man was sentenced Friday to serve at least six years in prison for the robbery of guns and cash from a Unity home more than two years ago.

Myles F. Kacin, 20, pleaded guilty last September to felony counts of robbery, conspiracy, aggravated assault and other connected offenses in connection with a Dec. 5, 2023 heist at a Unity home.

Police contend Kacin was among of six people who stole guns and $5,000 in cash. Witnesses said Kacin and five others were apart of group who arrived at the home and started a physical altercation in which the victims were threatened at gunpoint and one man was assaulted…
