A former Wake Forest Elementary PTA treasurer is facing felony embezzlement charges after authorities say she misused tens of thousands of dollars belonging to the organization.
Wake Forest Police arrested Anna-Marie Ethridge, 56, on Wednesday and charged her with felony embezzlement, according to court records. The charge stems from an investigation into missing PTA funds that police say began late last year.
An arrest warrant alleges that Ethridge “unlawfully, willfully, and feloniously did embezzle and corruptly use and misapply $32,635.34 property belonging to Wake Forest Elementary PTA.”…
