ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The woman who admitted to shoving a 75-year-old man to the ground in a Culver Road parking lot, leaving him with life-altering injuries, was sentenced Friday to probation and jail time.
Toni Palermo was sentenced to five years of probation and 10 weekends in jail beginning March 6. She pleaded guilty last December to second-degree assault.
Prosecutors said surveillance video from August 2025 showed Palermo getting out of her vehicle and pushing James Spampinato to the ground in a parking lot on Culver Road. The confrontation happened after Spampinato honked his horn to alert people he was pulling into a parking space…
