ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A former employee of Doodle Bugs child care center in Greece has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor following a New York State Police investigation into allegations of sexual abuse involving young children.
According to New York State Police, 24-year-old Noah Hoefler, of Rochester, pleaded guilty in Greece Town Court to one count of endangering the welfare of a child. He is scheduled to be sentenced April 7.
Arrest made after Rochester daycare sex abuse investigation
Hoefler was originally charged with sexual abuse in the first degree, a Class D felony, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. State police said the charges stemmed from an investigation that began in November 2024 after a law enforcement referral.
