Escambia deputies stopped DUI manslaughter suspect 40 minutes before Pensacola crash killed two (bodycam)

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — Body camera footage released by the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office shows deputies responding to a medical call for 60-year-old Wayne Dines.

Man broke into Mobile church, dressed in pastor’s clothes, and said he belonged there, according to police

This examination happened just 40 minutes before he was involved in a crash killing two people, according to the sheriff’s office.

At 4:50 p.m. on January 30th, the sheriff’s office is called to the intersection of Mobile Highway and Maxwell Street.

In the body camera footage, deputies are seen approaching Dines’ vehicle, a blue Jeep. One deputy said Dines had answered all the questions he was asked correctly and that he talked a bit funny…
