Trademark Seeking Incentives for $100M Arlington Retail Center Redevelopment

Trademark Property Co. is set to transform Lincoln Square, a 470,000-square-foot shopping center in Arlington. Built in the early 1980s, the Dallas Business Journal reports that the company is planning to turn the center into an updated retail and mixed-use hub called Anthem. Originally, the company planned to put up apartments and a hotel, but has since dropped those plans in favor of just giving the current center a makeover.

The Arlington Economic Development Corp. voted for an incentives agreement with Trademark to assist with the redevelopment. Under the agreement, Trademark would have to invest at least $100 million in exchange for $24.48 million in infrastructure grants from 2026 to 2031.

The renovations would include infrastructure, facade, tenant space, parking lot, entryway, landscaping and public space improvements…
