LANCASTER, Texas — Three people have been arrested after an “incident involving inappropriate restraint” involving a student at a Lancaster Independent School District elementary school, officials said.
According to a release from the district, the incident happened “toward a student in a classroom setting” at Pleasant Run Elementary School and was first reported last month. The district said after a thorough investigation, the three staff members present in the classroom were removed.
Lancaster ISD Police Department, who serves as the district’s law enforcement agency, later arrested the individuals directly involved in the incident. The matter is being addressed through the legal process, officials said…
