BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A child was taken to a hospital and later died after being hit by a vehicle on Friday, according to the coroner’s office.
EMS said they responded to the Murphy USA gas station on Cortana Place for a person hit by a truck on Friday, Feb. 20. Personnel were called around 11:28 a.m. and took one person to the hospital in critical condition.
The Baton Rouge Police Department confirmed that preliminary information shows a child was hit at this location. The victim’s age is unknown at this time…
