At the upcoming meeting Milwaukee County representatives, including Director of Economic Development Celia Benton will explain the proposal, discuss next steps and talk about how an agreement will affect the future of the historical park.
When Milwaukee County issued an RFP for the operation of Trimborn Farm in Greendale last summer – citing operational costs and “fiscal pressures” – it suggested it was willing to sell the property or consider a triple-net lease agreement in which the tenant must assume full responsibility for all property-related expenses, including maintenance.
The County is now talking to Virginia Emmons McNaught of Two Weathervanes LLC about entering into a triple-lease agreement for the 7.34-acre site and its buildings, and is seeking community feedback…
