Wing Daddy’s Sauce House got its start in El Paso in 2008, and in the years since, the restaurant chain has expanded into San Antonio with more than a handful of locations across the city. One of those locations unexpectedly shuttered its doors this week, leaving some locals wondering what happened.
MySA caught wind that the DeZavala location of Wing Daddy’s had permanently closed after a Facebook user posted about it in the San Antonio Restaurants group. We called the location at its listed number to confirm the closure with someone at the business, but no one answered. We also emailed Wing Daddy’s to request a comment. A visit to the Wing Daddy’s location revealed more about its current status.
According to a paper sign posted to the front door of the business, Wing Daddy’s on DeZavala Road is permanently closed. The Wing Daddy’s logo that hung above the restaurant’s storefront has also been removed.
“Please visit us at our Jackson Keller or Bandera location. Thank you for your patronage!” the paper sign said…
