JANESVILLE — A unified pretrial and trial schedule was set for Paul Dustin VanDuyne Jr. and Andrea Lynn Whitaker, the two defendants charged in a Dane and Rock county poisoning and stalking conspiracy last April.
Both defendants appeared in custody Thursday before the Rock County Circuit Court. VanDuyne was represented by defense attorney William Grau, while Whitaker was represented by Jason Daane. Rock County District Attorney Jason Sanders appeared on behalf of the State of Wisconsin in both matters.
The court ordered the defense in each case to file a response to the state’s motion seeking a pretrial ruling on the admissibility of evidence within 30 days. All statements by the parties must be filed by Aug. 1, 2026…
