Bill Bailey lived a remarkable American life. He joined the military at just fourteen during World War I, rode the rails as a hobo in his early years, and later served in World War II alongside his brother, son, and sister. After the war, he became a civil rights advocate and owned one of Reno’s most popular clubs. When the Civil Rights Act changed the landscape of his business, Bailey returned to Edgemont, where he ran the family ranch and remained a beloved and influential member of the community for decades.
