The call for help came in at 3:51 p.m., and crews from the Tucson Fire Department were on the scene in about five minutes. By then, heavy smoke had already filled the area and the far end of the mobile home was burning hard. The people living inside didn’t wait for help — they got out fast, and that decision likely made all the difference.

It took until 5:18 p.m. to bring the fire fully under control. No one was hurt, which is something I’m genuinely relieved to say, but five residents are now displaced and depending on support from the American Red Cross to get through the next few days…
