Authorities in Ohio charge that a North East woman found dead in an Akron-area hotel room Jan. 1 was killed by a man who days later held another woman against her will and brutally beat her.
The Copley, Ohio, Police Department announced Feb. 20 that 29-year-old Marcus Dangelo Price was charged with murder, felonious assault, rape and kidnapping. He is accused of killing North East resident Shawnna Elizabeth Pasquale, 24, whose body was found Jan. 1 in a hotel room on Rothrock Road, east of Interstate 77, according to police.
Pasquale’s death was ruled a homicide. She died of multiple blunt-force injuries, according to an investigator in the Summit County, Ohio, Medical Examiner’s Office.
