Columbus man accused of killing sister of his ex-girlfriend in Phenix City ordered held without bond

PHENIX CITY, Ala. (WRBL) — A Russell County judge has ordered a Columbus man held in custody without bond for the Feb. 15 murder of a Phenix City woman.

Willie James Davis Jr., 51, is facing a murder charge in the shooting death of 52-year-old Continaer Evans. She was identified as Continaer Robinson, her maiden name, the night of the shooting.

The ruling will keep Davis in the Russell County jail until his trial…
