Pedestrian killed in Spartanburg County crash, highway patrol says

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – A pedestrian was hit and killed in Spartanburg County Friday evening.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was hit by a 2007 Toyota sedan on U.S. 176 near Springfield Road around 7 p.m.

At the time of the crash, the sedan was headed west on the highway and the pedestrian was walking in the roadway. The sedan then hit the pedestrian, the highway patrol said…
