Indy man charged with ‘threatening to commit terrorism’ at Decatur Central High School

INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis man is behind bars after police say he made a phone call threatening to commit violence and terrorism at a local high school.

Dayshaun Knight, 19, was arrested last week on felony intimidation charges and booked into Marion County Jail on a $50,000 bond. The charges stem from a threatening phone call received by Decatur Central High School last Tuesday.

Decatur Township School Police officials said the school received a phone call from Knight where he threatened violence against the school. As a precaution, the school was placed under a lockdown protocol for the remainder of the day while police investigated.
