‘Dangerous man’ sentenced for rape, robbery at central Pa. spa

A man convicted of raping two employees of a Penn Township spa during a robbery and was shot by police as he fled was sentenced to 60 to 120 years in prison — the maximum possible — on Friday.

In handing down his sentence, Lancaster County Judge Jeffery Conrad told Christopher A. Rivera, “Sir, you are a dangerous man. And you will be a danger no more to women in our community.”

When given a chance to address Conrad, Rivera, 38, formerly of Middletown, Dauphin County, said he has been “unable to speak the truth” about what happened…
