MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man wanted in connection with a Murfreesboro shooting has been taken into custody after appearing in court Tuesday morning, officials said.
According to the Murfreesboro Police Department, Dumonta Burns, 24, is accused of shooting a man along Sulphur Springs Road on Feb. 1. Investigators reported the shooting stemmed from a past altercation between family members.

Following the incident, warrants were issued against Burns, charging him with attempted first-degree homicide, two counts of aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, and failure to appear.
