PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — For decades, the Providence Canteen has supported first responders across southern New England, showing up to some of the region’s toughest scenes with food, drinks, and essential supplies.
Just a few weeks ago, the nonprofit faced a rare setback that temporarily took its trucks off the road for about 24 hours.
