VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Additional student-led walkouts are set to take place at high schools in Virginia Beach and Gloucester on Friday to protest Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Kempsville High School’s principal addressed the indication of a demonstration in a letter to families on Feb. 12.
“I am writing to inform you that the administration has been made aware of discussions circulating among students locally and nationally regarding a possible walkout to express concerns related to the actions of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
