DENVER (KDVR) — A now-former sergeant with the Parker Police Department resigned on Friday, Feb. 13, amid an ongoing investigation.
The former sergeant, identified as Troy Brienzo, is currently under investigation after PPD first learned of an alleged incident on Jan. 7, 2026, the department announced Thursday.
PPD said it immediately placed Brienzo on administrative leave after learning about the alleged incident and that the investigation was turned over to an outside law enforcement agency, “to avoid the perception of a conflict.”
