BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Boise’s music community is rallying around musician and Treefort Music Fest artist Emilee Gomske after she was seriously injured in a rollover crash near Idaho Falls.
Family members say Gomske, 29, is hospitalized with a traumatic brain injury and remains in the ICU and unconscious, but they are hopeful. Gomske is well known in Boise’s music scene and was scheduled to perform during this year’s Treefort.
The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office says that Gomske was the passenger in a 2001 Volkswagen Golf. The driver reportedly veered off the right side of the road before entering an irrigation system and flipping into a field before violently rolling over.
