A new 45-home tiny house village is now open in Lake City, providing enhanced shelter with private, insulated units, hygiene facilities, a community kitchen, and round-the-clock staffing. Operated by the Low Income Housing Institute and Purpose. Dignity. Action., the site pairs shelter with comprehensive case management aimed at securing permanent housing. More than half of residents leaving LIHI villages move on to stable housing.
