KALIHI, Hawaii (KHON2) — Honolulu Firefighters rushed to a building fire in Kalihi on Friday afternoon, Feb. 20.
Diamond Head house fire determined to be intentionally set; HPD opens arson case
HFD said a 911 call came in just after 1 p.m. for a fire on Wilson Street.
Crews found an abandoned, one-story home engulfed in heavy flames. Parts of the building were already collapsing when HFD arrived on the scene.
The fire was extinguished in an hour. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation…
