UGA unveils new Spec Towns Track, named after Augusta track legend

ATHENS, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – The University of Georgia officially opened its new $59.8 million track and field complex Wednesday morning.

Named after former ARC and UGA track star Forrest “Spec” Towns, the Spec Towns Track is located on Milledge Avenue across from UGA’s soccer and softball facilities.
