JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — The National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners is promoting awareness of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia this week, and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office wants to inform the public about programs in place to help residents and their loved ones.
