CAMPBELL COUNTY, Ky. (WKRC) – A missing person was discovered in an overturned car in a creek after crashing their car near the Ohio River, according to police.
The Campbell County Police Department announced the discovery of a missing person at 9 a.m. on February 21 in a press release. The department said that the individual was reported missing at 8 p.m. on February 20 after authorities received an iPhone crash detection alert in the area of Nienaber Lane near the Ohio River in the area of Melbourne, Kentucky.
Following an extensive overnight search, the missing person was located a significant distance from the original alert location in a shallow section of Lloyd Creek. Police said they were found in their overturned vehicle…
