Dayton man facing charges in relation to fiancée’s death, prosecutors say

DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) — A Dayton man is facing several charges in connection with a deadly shooting involving his fiancée, prosecutors say.

According to the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office, 34-year-old Jayme Lee Rogers was indicted on several charges Friday.

In previous coverage, Dayton Police Department (DPD) was dispatched to a reported shooting in the 4700 block of Queens Avenue in the early morning hours on February 10. DPD said Rogers reportedly called 911 and stated he had shot his girlfriend, who was later reported as Rogers’ fiancée…
