Bladen County deputy injured in White Oak shooting

BLADEN COUNTY (WWAY) — A Bladen County Sheriff’s Office deputy was involved in a shooting Friday morning in the White Oak community.

The incident occurred after an anonymous 911 call around 7:40 that morning.

After receiving the tip, the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office responded to this area, the 600 block of Pine Acres Road, there to serve warrants to 46-year-old William Antonio Bright.
