RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. — A Randolph County woman is facing serious charges after deputies say she failed to provide critical medical care to two children in her care — including one with diabetes who needed insulin.
According to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received a welfare call on January 15, 2026, about two children. That investigation led to charges against 41-year-old Cassandra Leanne Sanders.
