HIGH SPRINGS, Fla. – Keith Eric Benson, 46, of Trenton, has been charged with grand theft after allegedly stealing a laptop from his High Springs employer.
A High Springs Police Department (HSPD) Officer reported that a manager at Theme Works asked the police department to press charges against Benson after they discovered on February 2 that the laptop was missing. The company’s IT provider reported that the laptop’s IP address came back to an internet service in the Trenton area, and the last time the laptop was powered on, its username had been changed to “Benson.”…
