HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — Talk about false spring! Temperatures reached the mid to upper 70s in the Piedmont Triad on Friday afternoon. This evening skies remain clear to mostly clear and temperatures fall through the 60s.

Overnight, clouds return, followed by scattered showers into early Saturday morning. Scattered showers remain through mid-morning Saturday before rain tapers off and we see breaks in the clouds. Temperatures start in the low 50s in the morning and afternoon highs reach the low 60s. Skies become partly cloudy in the afternoon.

While showers stick around Sunday morning, the skies will clear again into the afternoon, leaving us with a mix of sun and clouds. Temperatures will also be colder for the end of the weekend and into the start of next week. We’ll be in the low to mid-40s in the morning and highs only reach the upper 40s…
