Coastal storm spares Twin Tiers; light accumulations expected

Light snow showers move through the region tonight as temperatures move into the upper 20s. Temperatures will stay mild at times on Sunday ahead of more light snow.

Coastal communities and cities will have their hands full on Sunday as blizzard-like conditions impact New York City, parts of New England, and New Jersey. The Twin Tiers will still endure some snow accumulations on Sunday and Monday. Despite highs in the upper 30s, around 1-2” of snow falls on Sunday.

Monday morning brings more light snow, calming down as the day carries on. Around 2-4” of snow is expected regionwide across both days. Temperatures drop to the low 30s, then to the 20s for Tuesday…
