Brooklyn Teen Survives Daylight Ambush Inside Seth Low Houses

A 13-year-old boy is recovering after being shot multiple times inside the NYCHA Seth Low Houses in Brownsville on Friday afternoon, a brazen daytime attack that shook the complex but, by all accounts, could have ended far worse.

Emergency medical crews rushed the teen to Brookdale University Hospital, where authorities said he was expected to recover from his injuries.

According to News 12 New York, officers responded to 131 Belmont Ave just before 2:45 p.m. The boy was reportedly hit in both hands and in his thigh and was grazed by a bullet on his left knee. Police told the outlet they were looking for two males dressed in all black and wearing ski masks who ran out of the building after the shooting.
